I learned a lot from my mother and have precious memories of my grandmothers and all they taught me. I had always wanted to have a shop and to be home with my children Kari and Kristopher. With the support of my husband Kevin I was able to stay home and start my little business out of my kitchen. I love crafting, gardening and quilt making and live in an Old Red Cape, so hence the name Cottage Herbs Craft & Quilt Shop. The business soon outgrew the kitchen, so up went our Barn in the spring of 1985. In 2005 we were proud to be one of the Top 10 Shops selected by the editors of American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine for their Spring 2005 Quilt Sampler magazine! I have now been in business for 28 years! We specialize in: Homespuns, wools, wool felt, country and reproduction fabrics. We have a large selection of patterns and books catering to dolls, penny rugs, primitive stitcheries and quilts. Classes in quilt making, baskets, dolls, penny rugs and more! What does a retired nurse and retired mailman do for fun? Ask Donna and Tom Tetreault! Their dream of bringing their love of people, fabric and quilting to the Seacoast area came to fruition in May of 2006.
Garrison Hill Quilt Shop has a plentiful selection of cheerful brights, fun-filled kids, romantic florals, beautiful batiks, and much more! Threads and all the tools needed for successful quilting are at your fingertips in the shop. Garrison Hill also carries a variety of gifts for the quilter, including Jim Shore ornaments and figurines.
There are two other features of Garrison Hill Quilt Shop. Our twice a year Quilt Retreat Getaway . What fun! Quilt, sleep, eat. Not necessarily in that order! And, longarm quilting services on a Gammill Classic Plus. Donna personally works on each quilt after assisting in choice of design and thread color for each future heirloom! Tom, who has a great eye for color, enjoys piecing many of the demo's in the shop. We look forward to seeing you!

Little Lamb Quilt Shop The Shops at Calef's Corner 147 Route 9 Barrington NH 03825 603-664-6711 We carry a large selection of fabric from Moda, RJR Fabric, Hoffman, Andover, Northcott, P & B Textiles, and more. We have books, patterns and notions to inspire and assist you in creating the perfect project! We specialize in Thimbleberries fabric, books and patterns, and have run our Thimbleberries Quilt Club for four years now. We also are a Moda University shop, carrying lots of Moda's wonderful floral and country fabrics. We have a nice selection of baby fabrics and Hoffman Asian prints. Little Lamb has lots of wool! We carry wool by the yard from the Dorr Mill, and hand dyed by Wool E Bear Primitives. We also have 50 colors of National Nonwoven's wool felt. We offer expert photo transfer services, including photo editing. Co-owners Camille Arnone and Mary Furber are in their 5th year at Little Lamb Quilt Shop. Camille is retired from 36 years in insurance, and Mary was a computer programmer for 20 years. |
